Privacy Policy

1. Who this policy applies to

This policy explains how AscendPitch ("we", "us") handles information when you use ascendpitch.com to generate an AI scout report. You can contact us any time at ascendpitch@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

To generate your report we ask you to submit information about yourself as a football player. This typically includes:

• Your name, age, nationality and current location;
• Your current club or team, position and preferred foot;
• Playing history, achievements and stats you choose to share;
• Your goals (e.g. academies, pro trials, university, abroad);
• Any preferences or constraints you enter in the form.

We also receive limited payment metadata from our payment processor (for example a session ID and payment status) so we can confirm you paid. We do not receive or store your full card number, CVC, or bank details — those are handled directly by our payment processor.

We generate and store the resulting scout report (the list of opportunities, reasoning, links, and evidence quotes) so that you can reopen it from your report link.

3. What we do NOT collect

• No account, no username, no password.
• No advertising or tracking cookies.
• No behavioural profiling across other websites.

4. How we use your information

We use the information you submit only to:

• Generate the scout report you requested;
• Confirm your payment and prevent fraud;
• Let you reopen your report through its unique URL;
• Respond to you if you contact us for support.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your player information for advertising.

5. Third-party processors

To operate AscendPitch, some information is transmitted to trusted third-party services strictly to deliver the report:

• Payment processor — securely processes your payment.
• Cloud hosting & database provider — stores your report and intake data.
• AI model providers — used to plan research, reason about opportunities, and structure the final report. Your player details are sent to these models as part of the prompt.
• Web search & content retrieval provider — performs live web searches and page fetches to gather up-to-date research for your report.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

6. Local storage in your browser

The completion checkboxes next to each opportunity in your report are stored only in your own browser (localStorage). They never leave your device and we cannot see them.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep your intake data and the generated report so that you can return to your report link at any time. If you want us to delete your report and associated intake data, email ascendpitch@gmail.com with your report link (or the name and email you used) and we will delete it within a reasonable period.

Payment records held by our payment processor may be retained by them to satisfy their own legal, tax and anti-fraud obligations even after we delete our copy.

8. Children

AscendPitch is not intended for children under 13. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or legal guardian's permission to use the service and to submit your information. Parents who believe their child has submitted information without permission can email us to have it deleted.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain uses. To exercise these rights, email ascendpitch@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

10. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encrypted transport, managed cloud infrastructure, restricted access) to protect the information you submit. No online service can be guaranteed perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

11. International transfers

AscendPitch and its processors operate globally. By using the service you understand that your information may be processed in countries other than the one you live in, including the United States and the European Union.

12. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy we will change the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
